January 2003 |
With winter NAMM now over, AMT was very excited about all the events happening
this year. Many of our endorsers and a few old friends stopped by to say hello and
check out new products. As always, the bass players were out in full force. Dave
Frisen, Marc Rodgers, and even Mark
Egan were hanging around. The AMT booth was in close proximity to
master bass technician David Gage
and Acoustic Image. The Roam 1 system drew lots of attention again with Roam 1 endorser Tom Scott at the booth. He was kind enough to pay us a visit remarking on how he "loves" the microphone and even recorded his last CD using just the Roam 1 setup alone! This itself is pretty incredible due to it being a wireless setup. Wireless is not usually used in studio applications. AMT was excited to see so many dealers stopping by as well. A Bass Place & String Shop, (New Orleans, LA) is becoming very active in the AMT product line. (AMT Dealers) JL Smith & Company -Charlotte, NC stopped by to say hello. Aldo from Bell Accordion was around and stationed in his own booth. Aldo already stocking the ACC3 plans to also stock the new ACC3 Accordion True Stereo version very soon. And speaking of accordion, Frank Marocco was a guest at the booth again hanging with violinist Don Palmer. It's great to see Frank checking out the latest gear and keeping up to date with technology.
